Controlled Substances Registration Information

Dentists currently possessing a DPS controlled substances registration will remain registered through August 31st.  After September 1st, the controlled substances registration will become part of the regular dental license renewal, and there will be a small fee increase included in the renewal fee to cover this registration.  Dentists will not receive a separate controlled substances registration certificate.  Prescribing dentists are still required to keep their DEA registration active, but other than that, there are no additional steps needed to continue prescribing.  Click here for more information about controlled substances registrations.
