How Do I Renew My License?

Renewal Requirements

  • Your Texas Dental License is valid for one year.  If you do not pay your renewal fee by the expiration date listed on your Annual Registration Certificate your license will expire or possibly cancel.
  • A license may be renewed within 45 days of its expiration date.
  • A Dental License may be renewed online or by mail.
  • You must complete the Dentist License Renewal Questionnaire prior to renewing your license.
  • You must begin collecting continuing education hours after your first annual renewal.  All hours must be completed before each subsequent renewal.  You are not required to collect continuing education hours before your first annual renewal.
