Controlled Substances Registration Information
On September 1, 2016 the controlled substances registration became part of the regular dental license renewal, a small fee increase is included in the renewal fee to cover this registration. Dentists will not receive a separate controlled substances registration certificate. Prescribing dentists are still required to keep their DEA registration active, but other than that, there are no additional steps needed to continue prescribing.
